What's Special About Etchwood Nickel Gap Shiplap?
Shiplap planks are not only designed for superior strength & stability, the nearly endless design possibilities make it the perfect choice for your next project. Whether you prefer bold colors and patterns or a more subtle look, horizontal application or a more daring angle, our shiplap planks create an engaging, warm feel that is sure to enhance your space.
The Etchwood texture is a unique process that duplicates the authentic saw marks of old barn wood and captures the aged marks found on old barn timbers.
Using your choice of wood species and finish creates a one of a kind plank, unique to your project.
Nickel gap shiplap planks are made with an interlocking ‘tongue and groove’ profile on all 4 sides. Each end joint is supported on 3 sides, which creates a strong joint, even if it does not fall directly on a stud.
Attention To Detail
Our furniture grade finish is available in many standard and custom matched color choices. Planks are blind nailed for a smooth clean look. Since the Etchwood process does not break any surface fibers, the plank surfaces are easy to clean.
Why settle for just one texture or color? Nickel gap shiplap can be mixed and matched to create a look that is all your own. Use it to create a unique wainscoting, or clad an island or fireplace surround. Let your imagination be your guide!
