What Makes EtchWood Beams Different?

Etchwood rustic wood beams are built using solid wood, fabricated into 3 or 4 sided hollow wooden beams. Our unique corner profile creates a strong, seamless edge along with our Etchwood texture, creating almost unlimited possibilities in recreating custom rustic barn timbers for your construction project.

Rustic Texture

The Etchwood texture is a unique process that duplicates the authentic saw marks of old barn wood and captures the aged marks found on old barn timbers. Using your choice of wood species and finish creates a one of a kind beam, unique to your project.

Beam Construction

Our corner profile provides an extremely strong and accurate seam joining each corner of an Etchwood beam.
This keeps the beams straight and the seams tight and invisible with the appearance of a solid beam.

Wood-Beam-Dimensions

Beam Measuements

Dimensions for your beam are the first thing we need to get started with your project.
Provide us with the critical dimensions. We use 3/4" solid wood to construct the beam. This wood material used is created in the same manner as solid wood cabinet door panels are created. This ensures stability in the material in almost unlimited sizes.
As you can see from the diagram, many variations are possible. You can use a 3-sided Etchwood beam to cover something an existing piece or even use it as a wire chase.
Be sure to provide Inside Dimensions (ID) of the beam if you are covering an existing beam or structure.
